September 25-27, 2026
The Anthroposophical Societies Prison Outreach Walkathon weekend is just 2 weeks away! Beginning Friday the 25th through Sunday the 27th September, there will be walkers, cyclists and runners across the country taking to the outdoor trials. We hope this year there will be a walker(s) in your Branch community; there is still time to join in. Perhaps your community will be hosting a Michaelmas gathering and a group of you may walk together! We would love for a few of you to join in!!
If you are able go to the Campaign page linked here and press the ‘Create a Fundraising Page’ button to become a walker. We will watch for anyone new on the Campaign page and will reach out to help get a photo up if needed. Or if you prefer, we can get your entire personal page up from this end – just let us know by email or a call.
This year, some of our walkers will be joining us from prison. It is inspiring to receive the many writings by prisoners who are participating; thinking how each book read and studied inspires new knowledge and growth. Here is a man named Gabriel, who will be joining our Walk-a-thon from Hondo, TX:
I’m seeking to understand the esoteric path. Anthroposophy helps me by sending books to expand some of my interests. I get to see into people…spiritually…and feel realms as well.
I will be walking at least two and a half miles to class, the chow hall, and the chapel over the walk-a-thon week-end. Please sponsor my walk for APO. Thank you for your support!
