Please join: 100 years of the Agricultural Course – an Extraordinary Journey

August 26, 2026 By Mark Zweifel

Presentation by Marcel Waldhausen

Sponsored by Threefold Mankind International Program Initiative

Sunday, August 30
11:15 AM PT, 2:15 PM ET, 19:15 London, UK, 20:15 CUT

The 100th anniversary of the Agricultural Course marks a significant threshold for the biodynamic movement. How did the agricultural course in 1924 come about and which significant events of the present show us a viable way into the future? This question will be explored on the basis of one’s own path…

Marcel Waldhausen is a biodynamic farmer, agricultural machinery mechanic and engineer. He is currently working at Demeter in the West, Germany, in the care of the members. For years, he has devoted himself to deepening the agricultural course and to the question of a contemporary approach and the practical application of Rudolf Steiner’s ideas. As a lecturer, he gives lectures and workshops worldwide. The lecture is free, but a $15 suggested donation will help to support this program and provide for a speaker honorarium. Please type “Marcel W.”on the first line of your payment application.

Study spiritual science together

August 24, 2026 By Mark Zweifel

Weekly online groups exploring spiritual science an its relationship to modern technology

Can a real community form online?

A conference can introduce a question. A study group has time to live with it — to read carefully, listen to one another, and ask what Rudolf Steiner’s work may reveal about the significance of our technological age.

This autumn, MysTech is offering twelve-week online groups drawn from Steiner’s lectures and books. These timely courses consider what humanity faces, the meaning of the human being, the proper course of human evolution, and the challenge of machines shaped by Ahrimanic intelligence.

If you are relatively new to Anthroposophy, the First Course is the natural place to begin. Experienced students are welcome to enter another course or return to earlier material; many participants find that the work deepens through repetition.

The Autumn term begins the week of September 6, 2026. Participation is free, and each confirmed group meets online once a week with a host.
  • First Course — hosted by Mark Z or Lawrence
  • Second Course — hosted by Andrew
  • Third Course — hosted by Shruthi or Mark H
  • Mysteries of Evil, Volume 1 — hosted by Mark Z
  • Mysteries of Evil, Volume 2 — hosted by Andrew
  • Light & Electricity — hosted by Malana

Refined Breathing will be added when its session timezones are confirmed. Courses without a confirmed host can be studied individually without a host but will remain unavailable for registration.

(Re)Wilding Honeybee Workshop, Tour, and Lunch

Honeybees stand at a threshold. Their health and future are in question worldwide, calling us to reimagine our relationship with these remarkable beings.

This event is guided by colleagues from Apis Arborea — a California nonprofit devoted to wild honeybee conservation through a holistic ecological framework — grounded in long-term field research, biomimetic nesting structures, and deep attentiveness to the bees’ own nature.

Becoming Aware of the Etheric

July 30, 2026 By Mark Zweifel

Annual MysTech Conference 2026: Becoming Aware of the Etheric

For our landmark 10th conference, we turn our attention to the etheric realm — the domain of living, formative forces that exists between the physical plane and higher spiritual planes. As technology increasingly shapes the conditions of modern life, understanding these life forces becomes essential for counterbalancing our slide via technology into sub-nature.

Our speakers will explore practices, such as eurythmy, for opening doors to etheric perception. Using Goethean science, we seek to discover the living qualities within substances and elements. Can each of us strengthen our etheric vitality to fully participate in our age of screens and social media? Can we find Christ in the etheric to be our brother as we necessarily tread through Ahriman’s sphere?

“We can only become sure of ourselves as human beings if we walk the road created by the whole of technology, but do not let our lives be governed by the products of technology, and grow able to behold the Christ power that can become part of us and overcome all those products of technology.”

— Rudolf Steiner

Conference Themes

  • Evolution of the Human Constitution — Our etheric body is loosening from the physical.
  • New Spiritual Awareness — How will etheric awareness affect culture and civilization?
  • Christ in the Etheric — To be with us as we tread into Ahriman’s sphere.
  • Technology as a Reflection of the Etheric — Is there something similar to Zoom in the etheric?

Three Registration Tiers

  • Resonance Pass ($97 early bird) — Live stream access with 3-month recordings.
  • Luminous Pass ($197) — Lifetime recordings, transcripts, and HD audio.
  • Illuminated Circle ($397) — Everything above plus 1-year media library access and a private community group.

“Through meditation the etheric body gets the tendency to become separated from the physical body.”

— Rudolf Steiner

Schedule at a Glance

  • Friday, August 7 — Full day of sessions on the etheric and Goethean science, plus a Biodynamics forum and a Gopi K. Vijaya keynote.

  • Sunday, August 9 — Morning lectures on life, moral technology, and sensory development, followed by a closing forum.

52 Colors of the Soul

July 12, 2026 By Mark Zweifel

August 12-16, 2026

A Festival organized by the Eurythmy Association of North America (EANA)

Festival Information

The Calendar of the Soul with its 52 verses is the inspiration behind this event. Rudolf Steiner composed the calendar to tune the soul as a companion through the year. Later on he also created eurythmy forms for each verse in variously sized groups. This festival will bring all 52 verses to performance in eurythmy in English, as a U.S. premier. EANA has gathered groups nationwide (including Canada, Mexico and Taiwan) to prepare the verses for performance at the festival.

We welcome the general public interested in exploring this remarkable progression through lectures, and artistic workshops in eurythmy, speech, painting and plant dying. Professional level courses in eurythmy are taught by distinguished teachers in the field from the U.S., Holland, and Germany.

The festival features Mary Stewart Adams, Mac Mead and Daniel Hafner as keynote speakers in the morning  and offers evening performances of Poetry, Music and Eurythmy (featuring segments of the whole calendar). The event’s culmination is on Sunday morning with the US premier of all 52 verses performed in sequence in eurythmy. We will witness  the unfolding of the breathing of the human soul and cosmos in the realm of the etheric. We look forward to welcoming you on the grounds of the Threefold Educational Foundation.

Along with us, Ben will explore how the rhythm of the school day, movement, art, and thoughtful engagement, can support the development of grounded, integrated, and wise human beings in an age of acceleration.

Alliance Members: $60 | Non-Members: $75

Speaking with My Whole Self

June 24, 2026 By Mark Zweifel

Speaking with My Whole Self: Speech Workshop with Christine Burke

Saturday, June 27, 2026 | 9am-3pm

Cost: $175

Through our speech, we impact the world and those around us. Our inner life flows outwards over our vocal cords on our breath, influencing those around us. In earlier times, people had a deeper feeling for the power and importance of the word to do good or to do harm. Today, real communication through the human voice is being undermined. We are losing both the capacity to carry our inner world out on the waves of our words as well as the ability to perceive the other and their inner world through our senses.

Working with speech activities will enliven and strengthen the organs of speech and the ability to carry living pictures, clear thoughts, and forces of the heart in our words. Teachers who use their voice everyday in the classroom will benefit from this care for speech and learn to nourish their students through enlivened descriptions and storytelling.

This workshop is an opportunity to find your voice and is open to anyone who is interested. All levels of experience are welcome.

Christine Burke currently teaches Communication Studies at Ventura College and Logodynamics/The Arts of Speech privately, in groups, at workshops, trainings, and here at BACWTT. Her passion for words began at a young age and has led to and through theater and English literature, a degree in Linguistics, Waldorf teaching in the US and Sweden, Rudolf and Marie Steiner’s “Sprak Gestaltung,” the Michael Chekhov approach to acting, and an MA in Communication Studies focusing on Communication Education, Classical, and Performance Studies.

Please note that this is an in-person event only. A discount is available for group signups.
Tea, coffee, and snack provided. Please bring your own lunch.

For more information, please contact:
